Based in Malaysia, this role supports actuarial standards and processes, focusing on product pricing and development. The incumbent will provide technical support for new insurance products, recommend pricing assumptions, and ensure accurate financial output using actuarial software. This position also involves assessing product risks, participating in business initiatives, and offering general actuarial advice.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Support product development and provide technical specifications for new insurance products.
- Recommend pricing assumptions and targets, then price products using Prophet and Excel.
- Provide accurate and timely actuarial support to the Product Implementation Team.
- Model and analyze Prophet model office for new products, interpreting and communicating results.
- Assess inherent risks in new products and identify mitigating solutions.
- Participate in various company-wide business initiatives and system upgrades.
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a similar quantitative field.
- Good progress in professional actuarial examinations.
- Numerate and analytical mindset.
- Proficiency with programming tools like Visual Basic.
- Practical knowledge of Prophet or other projection software is preferred.
- Meticulous, able to work under pressure, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
