Based in Malaysia, this technical position sits within the Group Information Security & Privacy unit to support the Global Security Operations Centre. You will oversee platform availability, maintain log integration pipelines, and optimize detective monitoring controls. The position also focuses on crafting automation solutions and engineering data flows to elevate incident response efficiency across the organization.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Maintain continuous reliability, performance, and log ingestion for the Splunk security platform.
- Integrate and validate security event logs to ensure completeness, data quality, and precise correlation.
- Build and enhance detection rules, alerts, dashboards, and threat intelligence integrations.
- Develop automation workflows and scripting solutions to streamline operational activities and support SOAR.
- Provide technical assistance to security operations teams and coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation, operating procedures, and incident trend analyses.
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Four to seven years of relevant experience in security engineering or security operations.
- Hands-on expertise with SIEM platforms, particularly Splunk, including log onboarding and data modeling.
- Demonstrated capability in detection engineering, writing correlation rules, and dashboard design.
- Strong scripting and automation background using tools relevant to security workflows.
