Based in Singapore, this role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and restoring access and transmission equipment across telecommunication networks. You will collaborate closely with network operation teams to meet service level agreements and perform crucial on-site surveys, installations, and preventive maintenance. The position requires strong technical proficiency with fiber testing tools and flexibility for on-call emergency response.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Coordinate with INOC to handle fault resolution and service restoration within agreed SLAs
- Troubleshoot access and transmission equipment issues, escalating to second-tier support when required
- Prepare schedules and execute site surveys, installations, patching, testing, and preventive maintenance
- Track equipment performance and apply remedial actions to ensure network health
- Assist with cable-related traffic rerouting and service diversions during critical incidents
- Remain on standby for off-hour callouts and support equipment recovery with contractors
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- O/A Level or ITE qualification in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines
- Foundational understanding of telecom engineering and transmission system architecture
- Proficiency with fiber patching, troubleshooting, and tools like OTDR and optical power meters
- Clear communication skills and strong collaborative team attitude
- Willingness to perform 24/7 on-call duties and handle irregular hours including nights and weekends
