Based in Malaysia, this role supports new business and policy underwriting operations within the agency distribution channel. You will evaluate risk for insurance proposals within authorized limits while meeting company turnaround and compliance standards. The position collaborates with distribution partners and internal teams to manage enquiries and ensure smooth customer onboarding. Additionally, you will monitor personal performance metrics and assist in continuous operational enhancements.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Evaluate and decide on life, disability, critical illness, and health insurance applications within delegated authority
- Escalate complex cases or requests exceeding authority limits to senior underwriters for review
- Process assigned case volume promptly to meet service level agreements and turnaround times
- Maintain strict adherence to company underwriting rules, internal controls, and statutory regulations
- Liaise with agency representatives and internal teams to address case queries and provide operational updates
- Monitor personal productivity metrics and report operational bottlenecks or recurrent errors to management
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science, Biology, Health Science, or a related field
- Fresh graduate or up to three years of experience in the insurance or life and health sector
- Foundational understanding of life and health insurance products and agency underwriting workflows
- Familiarity with risk management, compliance guidelines, and delegated authority frameworks
- Strong analytical mindset and confident decision-making capability
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder coordination
