Based in Malaysia, this role involves managing external reporting and accounting functions for a financial services company. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing statutory and non-statutory returns, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and contributing to month-end closing processes. This position requires active participation in technical discussions regarding new accounting standards and continuous improvement of financial procedures.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Prepare statutory and non-statutory financial reports for regulatory bodies
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of reported financial figures through reconciliations
- Participate in technical discussions on new accounting standards like IFRS/MFRS 17
- Contribute to month-end closing activities, including journal entries and regulatory reports
- Document accounting policies and procedures
- Manage annual audit requirements and prepare statutory financial statements
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification (ACA, CPA, ACCA)
- Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and cultures
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
- Results-oriented with a sense of urgency
- Understanding of general IFRS and IAS principles
