Based in the Philippines, this role focuses on ensuring the high availability and reliability of digital IT products. The Site Reliability Engineer will enhance system performance through faster issue detection and resolution, implementing strategies to prevent recurrence and reduce operational toil. This involves using robust observability tools, automating incident response, and optimizing IT architecture to create a resilient infrastructure. This is a managerial position, requiring strong leadership and data-driven decision-making to impact business results.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Implement and lead monitoring solutions for real-time system insights and proactive incident detection.
- Refine monitoring strategies and develop automation scripts to enhance system visibility and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for service quality.
- Collect and share data from observability tools to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to enhance IT reliability.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide support for observability tools.
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science, with up to 5 years of experience.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Knowledge of system administration, including Linux/Unix and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
- Experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C#) and scripting for automation.
- Understanding of networking protocols, infrastructure, load balancing, and DNS management.
