Based in Singapore, this role focuses on developing and governing actuarial models for the company's actuarial teams. The specialist will maintain and enhance Prophet models, collaborating with various teams to meet modeling requirements. This position involves providing technical guidance, ensuring compliance with governance policies, and supporting group-wide initiatives. The role also assists the Appointed Actuary in approving new product pricing and valuation methodologies.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop Prophet Deterministic and Stochastic models, including DCS and SQL.
- Collaborate with Pricing, Reporting, and Regional teams on modeling needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, offering technical guidance for modeling projects.
- Ensure adherence to internal and Group governance policies.
- Support Group-wide actuarial modeling initiatives.
- Assist the Appointed Actuary with approval processes for new product valuation.
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- 3 to 7 years of actuarial or analytical experience.
- Good working knowledge of Prophet systems and valuation data processing.
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex actuarial concepts clearly.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high standards.
- Experience with ALS model is preferred.
- Experience with other actuarial modeling platforms (e.g., RAFM, PathWise) is a plus.
- Actuarial qualification is preferred but not required.
