Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Collaborate with front-office, back-office, and settlement teams to ensure data accuracy and timely processing.
• Support daily reconciliation, settlement activities, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors for resolution.
• Document all systems, applications, and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Participate in meetings with SET, SEC regulators, and internal teams to discuss issues, projects, and strategy.
• Provide technical support for the Pre-Settlement Matching System (PSMS) used in the Thai market.
• Deep understanding of the SET and SEC reporting requirements.
• Worked with local vendors on client confirmation reports.
• Knowledge of Thai trading applications, exchange connectivity, and trade clearing/settlement processes.
• Support trade settlement activities, troubleshooting promptly to ensure smooth operations.
• Understand Trade reconciliation from post trade to settlement to ensure correct and timely settlement.
• Support the testing and implementation of new functionality or system enhancements
• Validate and ensure the correctness of regulatory reports filed with SET.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and support regulatory reporting requirements.
• Supporting existing staff with their day-to-day needs is a secondary responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in securities or financial services, supporting trading or back-office IT systems related to the Thai stock market.
• Strong knowledge of SET trading processes, clearing, settlement, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience supporting trading platforms, exchange connectivity, and market data systems.
• Familiarity with tools such as Bloomberg, IFIS, or ThaiQuest is an advantage.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure including Windows desktop environments, networking, voice systems, and data center operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced financial environment.
• Strong communication skills in both Thai and English.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small team.
