Based in Singapore, this role involves supporting the testing and validation of broadband devices and services within Singtel's iLab. The Associate Engineer will primarily conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for various broadband equipment, including Residential Gateways and Wi-Fi devices, ensuring they meet deployment standards. This position also includes maintaining lab operations, troubleshooting, and contributing to test automation efforts.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Perform User Acceptance Testing for broadband devices and firmware
- Test various broadband devices like RGs, ONTs, and Wi-Fi routers
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Support GPON/XGS-PON broadband testing and new project implementations
- Utilize network testing tools such as Wireshark and iPerf
- Maintain lab equipment, test devices, and environments
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or IT
- No prior experience required
- Basic understanding of networking and TCP/IP protocols
- Familiarity with IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, and Wi-Fi concepts
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Interest in test automation, RPA, and networking technologies
