Based in Malaysia, this role focuses on proactive problem management, identifying root causes, and reducing recurring incidents to enhance service stability across network and technology environments. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to investigate complex technical issues, implement long-term solutions, and continuously improve operational performance through data-driven insights. This position requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining high service quality.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Detect, log, and manage problems by analyzing recurring and major incidents
- Perform root cause analysis using structured methodologies
- Collaborate with teams to investigate complex technical issues and find resolutions
- Recommend and implement workarounds and permanent solutions for service stability
- Conduct trend analysis to identify recurring issues and prevent future incidents
- Maintain the Known Error Database and develop knowledge articles
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or Telecommunications
- Up to 3 years of experience in Problem Management, Network, or IT Operations
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Routing & Switching, TCP/IP, Security)
- Exposure to enterprise and telecommunications technologies (MPLS IPVPN, Cloud Connect, BGP, OSPF)
- Experience with networking technologies from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
