Based in Singapore, this Assistant Vice President role focuses on overseeing level-two application production support within the bank's digital and mobile banking ecosystems. The selected professional will manage critical incidents, perform deep-dive root cause analyses, and safeguard system availability across containerized and distributed architectures. Additionally, the position involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, guiding junior staff members, and participating in rotating on-call support.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve production incidents, service requests, and tickets across critical banking systems.
- Conduct thorough root-cause investigations on recurring technical issues to prevent future downtime.
- Maintain clear and consistent communications with business stakeholders during incident recovery and outages.
- Review software changes for applications hosted on OpenShift containers to safeguard platform stability.
- Participate in disaster recovery drills and scheduled after-hours on-call rotations.
- Mentor junior colleagues, share technical insights, and drive operational process improvements.
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least six years of application production support experience, with four or more years in banking IT.
- Proven background supporting high-availability digital banking platforms, including native mobile apps.
- Hands-on troubleshooting expertise with AIX, Java, IBM MQ, relational databases, and OpenShift containers.
- Practical knowledge of monitoring and IT service management tools like Splunk, Jira, and Remedy.
- Solid foundation in ITIL service management frameworks and disaster recovery procedures.
