Based in Singapore, this role seeks a Senior Data Engineer to develop enterprise-scale data ingestion frameworks and Lakehouse platforms. The position involves creating governed data products and analytical models, collaborating with various teams to deliver trusted, reusable, and AI-ready data assets. You will design metadata-driven ingestion, build robust transformation frameworks, and implement data quality controls.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Design and implement metadata-driven data ingestion frameworks for various data types
- Develop reusable Spark/Python components for data processing, orchestration, and error handling
- Construct Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers following Lakehouse architecture principles
- Create business-facing data products with metadata, lineage, and service level agreements
- Implement data quality controls and observability features
- Optimize Spark jobs and distributed processing workloads for performance
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 15 years of experience in technology delivery, preferably in banking or financial services
- Proficiency in Apache Spark (PySpark), Java, and Python
- Strong understanding of advanced SQL and data modeling principles
- Experience with Delta Lake/Lakehouse concepts and ETL/ELT processes
- Familiarity with API integration and data engineering best practices
