Based in Singapore, this role involves managing and maintaining various database systems for a leading telecommunications company. The Senior Database Services Engineer will provide L2 operational support for Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. This position requires proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions for database incidents and changes, including disaster recovery and security patching.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Provide L2 operational support for Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases.
- Manage and troubleshoot database issues independently.
- Implement and maintain database security, backup, and recovery procedures.
- Monitor database performance and availability, applying corrective actions.
- Handle database changes through a formal request process.
- Support disaster recovery plans and perform regular security patching.
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Oracle Professional Certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle (Standalone + RAC/Cluster).
- Experience with MS SQL, MySQL, EDB, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Proficiency in database patching, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Strong analytical skills for problem-solving.
