Based in Malaysia, this role involves providing comprehensive data support to business users, promptly addressing queries and requests, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents to meet service level targets. The analyst will reverse-engineer queries, analyze complex SQL and data models, and troubleshoot ETL pipelines to maintain data quality. This position also requires performing root cause analysis for data discrepancies and collaborating with development teams on releases.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Provide data support to business users and address queries promptly.
- Resolve reported incidents efficiently to meet service level targets.
- Reverse-engineer queries and reports to understand data logic and transformations.
- Analyze SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models for lineage.
- Troubleshoot ETL pipelines (Informatica, SSIS) for quality and performance.
- Perform root cause analysis for data discrepancies and recurring incidents.
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years in application development and support within banking/finance.
- Experience with ETL, data warehousing, and business intelligence.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, data dictionaries, and ETL logs.
- Working experience on Unix/Windows platforms and batch scheduling tools.
- Strong understanding of banking products, financial instruments, and regulatory reporting.
