Based in Malaysia, this role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements and disclosures in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The specialist will manage financial reporting submissions to the UOB Group in Singapore and prepare regulatory reports for Bank Negara Malaysia. This position also supports financial closing activities, analyzes financial results, and participates in finance transformation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and disclosures.
- Manage financial reporting submissions to UOB Group Singapore.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to Bank Negara Malaysia accurately.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
- Analyze financial results, provide commentaries, and explain variances to stakeholders.
- Participate in finance transformation and process enhancement initiatives.
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in banking financial or regulatory reporting.
- Experience with Group reporting to Head Office and regulatory reporting to BNM.
- Strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and banking financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
