Based in Singapore, this role is dedicated to identifying, evaluating, and mitigating country-specific risks across regional portfolios. You will assess macroeconomic, geopolitical, and sovereign developments to protect the bank's asset quality. The specialist will advise senior leadership on country limits, assign internal sovereign ratings, and work closely with credit and business teams to maintain resilient risk governance standards.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and social developments to identify emerging threats to national credit portfolios
- Evaluate country risk exposures and propose limit adjustments to executive management
- Conduct annual reviews of country limits, triggers, and necessary risk control frameworks
- Execute internal rating methodologies to determine sovereign default and transfer risk levels
- Collaborate with internal business and credit partners to oversee country limit usage and handle remediation
- Enhance country risk management standards, methodologies, and technical monitoring tools
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- At least 10 years of professional background in country risk or credit risk management
- Strong grasp of macroeconomic factors and systemic contagion effects on financial portfolios
- Proactive approach in formulating risk mitigation strategies against macroeconomic shifts
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, generative AI, and modern operational workflows
- Sound understanding of financial regulations across key regional jurisdictions
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
