Based in Malaysia, this role oversees core financial accounting and reporting functions across the organization. The position is responsible for staff costs, fixed assets, general ledger reconciliations, and group-wide statutory and regulatory reporting. You will lead periodic close cycles, coordinate international audits, and drive data quality and continuous process improvements within finance.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Manage accounting for staff costs, fixed assets, and lease agreements in coordination with relevant teams.
- Oversee month-end accruals, general ledger reconciliations, and resolution of outstanding balance items.
- Deliver monthly close, group reporting packages, and local statutory and tax submissions across multiple jurisdictions.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis and provide financial performance commentaries and predictive scenarios.
- Coordinate audit requirements for international entities across Singapore, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, UK, and the US.
- Maintain standard operating procedures, champion best practices, and mentor junior accounting team members.
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a relevant academic discipline.
- Professional accounting accreditation (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA, ICAEW) completed or in progress is preferred.
- At least 5 to 7 years of relevant accounting experience, including supervisory or review exposure.
- Background in Big 4 audit firms or financial services, particularly fund management, is advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, multitasking, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
