Based in Singapore, this role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, and fault restoration of telecommunications access and transmission systems. The appointed professional will collaborate closely with network operations to fulfill service level agreements, conduct on-site troubleshooting, and execute preventive maintenance. This position requires active participation in standby shifts to promptly resolve critical network issues.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Partner with network operation centers for prompt fault resolution and service recovery
- Perform troubleshooting, testing, and replacement of transmission and access equipment
- Prepare schedules and execute site surveys, installations, and preventive maintenance
- Track transmission equipment health metrics and implement required corrective measures
- Assist with cable diversion and service re-routing during incidents
- Handle standby duty and recall for night, weekend, or holiday emergencies
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Minimum O Level, A Level, or ITE certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience as an Engineering Officer or technician
- Strong grasp of telecommunications principles and transmission system concepts
- Hands-on competence with optical fiber patching, OTDR, and power meters
- Willingness to support 24/7 standby shifts and irregular working hours
- Solid analytical problem-solving and interpersonal communication abilities
