Based in Malaysia, this role involves defining and implementing the technology obsolescence management strategy, policies, and governance frameworks for a leading bank. The successful candidate will manage enterprise-wide technology lifecycle inventory, identify obsolescence risks, and develop mitigation plans. This position requires driving multi-year technology refresh roadmaps, managing budgets, and providing leadership in best practices for lifecycle management.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Define and own the technology obsolescence strategy and governance frameworks
- Maintain an enterprise-wide technology lifecycle inventory and identify risks
- Develop and execute multi-year technology refresh and modernization roadmaps
- Act as primary contact for obsolescence discussions and manage vendor relationships
- Create business cases, manage budgets, and identify cost-avoidance opportunities
- Define KPIs, report on risk status, and provide domain leadership to teams
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Strong understanding of technology lifecycle management across various components
- Experience with end-of-life planning for operating systems, databases, and hardware
- Knowledge of security and compliance implications of obsolete technology
- 12-15+ years in IT, infrastructure, architecture, or technology risk roles
- Proven experience leading large-scale refresh or modernization programs
- Strong leadership, influencing, and decision-making capabilities
