Based in Singapore, this role leads the mechanical engineering strategy and design for next-generation data center developments. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, directing mechanical system design, cooling infrastructure, equipment selection, and commissioning across new and existing mission-critical facilities. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, consultants, and regional stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency, sustainability, and high availability.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Design and optimize mechanical infrastructure including ACMV, hydraulic, liquid cooling, and fire protection systems
- Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, selection, and technical procurement reviews
- Guide engineering consultants and contractors from concept design through construction and commissioning
- Maintain and update internal design specifications, blueprints, and equipment documentation
- Review commissioning scripts, witness testing on site, and conduct mechanical system audits
- Support facility management and operations teams to resolve complex engineering limitations and risks
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of mechanical design experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities
- Deep knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and chilled water plants
- Experience delivering fast-track engineering design and major infrastructure upgrade projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional project management abilities
- Willingness to travel to Malaysia and across the Asia Pacific region
