Based in Malaysia, this role leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the Data Lake platform and related data services. The Senior Manager will drive the design, build, and operations of scalable data assets, ensuring they power analytics, AI, and reporting needs. This position involves close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver trusted, governed, and robust data solutions.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and architectural direction.
- Oversee the roadmap, design, and operations of the Data Lake platform on Azure.
- Partner with Data Governance to implement data quality, lineage, and compliance standards.
- Manage business continuity, risk, and operational resilience for data platforms.
- Lead vendor evaluations, sourcing, and cost management for data solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and embed security guidelines for data.
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in data engineering or data platform roles.
- At least 4 years of experience leading teams of 5 or more engineers.
- Proven track record delivering enterprise data platforms in a regulated industry.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Azure Data Stack (Databricks, ADF, Data Lake, Cosmos DB).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, and SQL.
