Based in Singapore, this role involves evaluating medical and financial risks for life and health insurance applicants. The specialist will make underwriting decisions, manage complex cases, and provide support to financial consultants. This position requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to assess potential client risks and exposures.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Assess medical and financial risks for insurance applicants
- Make underwriting decisions within authority, aligned with standards and market trends
- Review complex medical cases with multiple risk factors
- Process customer requests from start to finish
- Provide support to Financial Consultants on underwriting matters
- Engage with sales teams at business centers for new business
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in life and health underwriting
- Degree in Nursing or Biomedical Science/Engineering
- Professional certifications like ACII, ANZIIF, ALU, or LOMA
- Strong knowledge of medical conditions, insurance laws, and regulations
- Good understanding of insurance products
- Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
