Based in Singapore at the Biopolis technical center, this Olfactive Scientist will drive scent innovation for Fabric and Home Care brands across the Asian market. The position combines creative intuition with chemical science to craft high-performing scent experiences that satisfy consumer expectations. Working within a specialized regional team, the specialist guides fragrance houses, evaluates raw formulations, and directs scent delivery technologies to elevate product freshness.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Formulate fragrance-related consumer insights to direct the development of regional scents
- Provide constructive sensory feedback to in-house and perfume house creators
- Lead scent development projects alongside internal multidisciplinary teams and external scent suppliers
- Create innovative testing methodologies to discover winning fragrances that support brand equity
- Coordinate with external perfume partners to enhance internal development capabilities
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Degree, Master's, or PhD in Science or Engineering fields
- Demonstrated experience in fragrance design or related product category development
- High olfactive acuity proven by passing an odor evaluation test
- Background in products research, including consumer interviews and sensory panels
- Foundational understanding of chemistry, scent raw materials, and delivery systems
- Strong project management and collaborative communication capabilities
