Based in Malaysia, this role focuses on security innovation, combining development with applied research. The incumbent will build security automation, orchestration, and AI-augmented tools to enhance GISP processes. This position involves researching new technologies, threats, and security approaches to guide team development and improve efficiency and scalability through automation. The role also includes exploring emerging technologies via proofs-of-concept to ensure safe and effective adoption.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Build and orchestrate security automation workflows to reduce manual effort
- Integrate security tools and telemetry into automated processes
- Apply AI augmentation within workflows with human oversight
- Integrate security checks into CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
- Research new technologies and their security implications, tracking threats
- Run proofs-of-concept and evaluate tools to inform adoption decisions
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer engineering, or computer science
- At least 8 years in information security, enterprise management, or IT
- Minimum 5 years in security engineering, automation, or architecture
- Hands-on ability to build security automation and orchestration (e.g., Python)
- Practical experience with CI/CD platforms and DevOps tools
- Sound working knowledge of major cybersecurity domains
