Based in Singapore, this role involves leading high net worth (HNW) underwriting for Bermuda-based policies, focusing on complex, high-value life insurance cases. The Director will manage end-to-end assessments, including medical, financial, and customer due diligence, while ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines. This position also supports claims adjudication, risk management, and provides guidance to junior underwriters.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end underwriting for Bermuda policies within authority limits
- Underwrite complex HNW/UHNW cases, including multi-jurisdictional structures
- Conduct medical and financial assessments, including source of wealth and insurable interest
- Support claims adjudication and post-issuance underwriting activities
- Identify and escalate potential underwriting risks and fraud indicators
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior underwriters
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- University degree in Business, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 8-15 years of life underwriting experience, with at least 4 years in HNW/large cases
- Professional qualification in Life Insurance (e.g., FLMI, ALU)
- Experience collaborating with reinsurers, compliance, legal, and distribution teams
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
