Based in Malaysia, this leadership role oversees the end-to-end expense operations, staff accounting, and multi-jurisdictional financial reporting for the organization. The appointee will guide financial closes, ensure strict statutory and regulatory compliance, and partner closely with corporate leaders and external auditors. Additionally, the role drives operational automation, manages treasury risks, and cultivates high performance within the finance team.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Oversee daily expense management, staff accounting, lease accounting, and accurate payment processing.
- Manage monthly financial close along with group, statutory, and regulatory reporting across global jurisdictions.
- Handle treasury operations including cash yield optimization, counterparty limits, and foreign exchange exposure.
- Liaise with external auditors, local regulators, and tax authorities across multiple international locations.
- Deliver financial insights, benchmarking, predictive scenarios, and commentaries to support executive decision-making.
- Lead continuous process improvement, implement automation initiatives, and mentor finance team members.
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting accreditation (ACCA, CPA, CA, ICAEW) or current pursuit of qualification preferred.
- At least 12 years of commercial accounting experience, with Big 4 or fund management background preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience successfully leading and coaching a finance team.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, international taxation, and statutory requirements across various global regions.
- Demonstrated ability in financial controls, stakeholder communication, and complex issue resolution.
