Based in Singapore, this role involves installing and maintaining fibre optic cables and pipes for new developments and backbone networks. The successful candidate will ensure timely project completion, manage vendor payments, and provide on-site support for network operations, including troubleshooting and emergency repairs. This position requires adherence to safety procedures and collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver reliable telecommunication services.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Install fibre cables and pipes for new developments and backbone networks
- Execute fibre cable and pipe works according to established procedures
- Meet target dates for fibre cable schemes to ensure timely service provision
- Manage and control vendor payments after job completion
- Perform maintenance, attend to breakdowns, and troubleshoot fibre circuits
- Liaise with public bodies and developers regarding fibre cable provision
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering, preferably Telecommunication, or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Possess a Class 3 driving license (advantageous)
- Proficient in PC applications like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Good communication skills and a team player
- Keen to learn and adapt to new challenges
