Based in Singapore, this role involves designing and enhancing data pipelines on large-scale Big Data platforms. The engineer will build streaming and batch data applications, oversee data quality and security, and guide junior engineers. Working across cross-functional teams, you will craft scalable data solutions aligned with company-wide analytical architectures.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Build and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines using Big Data platforms
- Develop data applications and orchestrations using Python, Spark, PySpark, and Apache Airflow
- Design and integrate frontend dashboards and backend APIs using frameworks like FastAPI or Spring Boot
- Conduct research and proof-of-concept testing for modern data tooling and architectures
- Mentor junior data engineers by providing technical guidance and code reviews
- Oversee DataOps, DevOps, metadata management, and strict data security compliance
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related technical discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of practical software and data pipeline development experience
- Strong background with Big Data environments such as Hadoop, MapR, or Cloudera
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, NoSQL, and Linux shell scripting
- Hands-on expertise developing data APIs and working with web development frameworks
- Excellent English communication, critical thinking, and technical presentation skills
