Based in Singapore, this role is a key member of the Treasury & Disbursement team, focusing on end-to-end disbursement operations, month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliations. The specialist will handle daily processing of various financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This position requires managing high transaction volumes under tight deadlines and collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance processes and controls.
หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ / Responsibilities
- Process daily payments for insurance payouts, vendors, and staff reimbursements, ensuring compliance.
- Respond to queries from Life Operations regarding payment status and accounting codes.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, inter-fund, and inter-company.
- Support month-end closing activities like accruals, provisions, and expense allocations.
- Act as a system user and first-level troubleshooter for finance systems.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls.
คุณสมบัติ / Qualifications
- Experience in the insurance industry with knowledge of insurance accounting and AP/AR.
- Proven experience in payment processing, reconciliations, and month-end closing in a high-volume environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Highly motivated, delivery-focused, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in financial systems.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
